Character Breakfast is offered in the dining room; 3D DreamWorks movie screenings are featured in the Amber Theater; Themed games are provided by the Adventure Ocean youth program. The Allure of the Seas is one of six Oasis-class ships currently sailing with Royal Caribbean. Oasis-class ships are the second largest class of cruise ships in the world. Their split-superstructure design creates unique outdoor spaces in the middle of the ship called Central Park and the Boardwalk.

These neighborhoods help spread out crowds and provide unique experiences around the ship. This is the ultimate specialty dining experience for culinary connoisseurs. When the sun goes down, step up your game at Dazzles, where live cover bands and guest performers light up the stage so you can show off your steps on the dance floor. Whether you’re looking to strut your stuff or watch the action unfold from the mezzanine — cocktail in hand — few places onboard dial up the energy like this multi-level party spot. There are two "secret balconies" positioned close to the aft elevators on Deck 9. Both balconies are small (each is furnished with a table and two chairs), overlook Central Park and are some of the best points to view the entire neighborhood.

It’s not somewhere I enjoy spending time, as I’d rather be hanging out somewhere with an outside view. That being said, not having waterslides could be considered a downside of Allure of the Seas for some passengers. Whereas other Oasis Class ships have three waterslides in addition to small slides at Splashaway Bay, Allure of the Seas does not have even one. Allure of the Seas sails from Port Canaveral until until July 2024, where she will offer 3 and 4-night cruises to Nassau and Perfect Day at CocoCay. In addition, you’ll find a variety of activities throughout the day such as scavenger hunts, pool games, Boardwalk carnival, Royal Promenade parades, and more.
From early July 2024 to early February 2025, the ship will relocate to Miami to offer the same three- and four-night Bahamas sailings, including Perfect Day at CocoCay. At press time, prices started at $282 per person ($94 per person, per night) for an inside room on a three-night cruise. At the end of October 2023, Allure of the Seas will reposition from Galveston to Orlando's Port Canaveral.
The Explorers have Nintendos and Wiis and use the art room, science lab, and Adventure Ocean theater in their activities. The Voyagers also use all of the same facilities as the Explorers but are more independent. The Adventure Ocean staff do not have any activities for those 3-11 at the pools, but all three age groups are involved with the DreamWorks experience. The characters are in Adventure Ocean about once or twice a day, and often there is a DreamWorks theme day. The Allure of the Seas is certainly large enough to have something for all age groups and interests, and Royal Caribbean has several age-appropriate groups for kids in its Adventure Ocean program.
Some of the innovative features include the first Starbucks®, the Broadway hit Chicago, aerial acrobatics in the AquaTheater. The adventurous can try surfing at sea on the Allure of the Seas' Flowrider® or sailing over the ship on the first zip line at sea. On the Allure of the Seas you can go ice-skating in the morning and go rock climbing in the afternoon. Near the pool deck, there’s the ship’s sports deck, with family-friendly features like basketball courts and a miniature golf course. Owners suites likewise differ according to which type of owners suite you book. Some come with panoramic views, but all are extremely spacious, with impressive, large bathrooms, bedrooms and living space.
Taste a little, or taste it all — the flavors here are as big as Brazil. Enjoy the best seat with family and friends during AquaTheater performances from your balcony. As the bar rises upward, it appears to be pushed into the air by a giant waterfall cascading from underneath it. It's a neat — albeit gimmicky — concept that debuted on Oasis of the Seas and carried through to other vessels in the class. For a flat fee of $24.99 per person, you can choose one appetizer, one main, a side and one dessert. Combination sushi and teppanyaki restaurant Izumi offers dinner with a show for an extra fee. A trained chef will cook for your group while he cracks the same tired jokes you've heard before at teppanyaki locations on land or on other ships.
The pool deck on Allure of the Seas has three main pools, one pool area for kids, and several jacuzzis. To find out more about what is happening onboard each day of the cruise, be sure to download the Royal Caribbean app and check the daily schedule. Making reservations to signature production shows is important, too, and it’s recommended that you do so as soon as you get onboard on embarkation day. One of the best entertainment features on Allure of the Seas is the full-length Broadway musical, Mamma Mia.
Looking for Jazz on 4, which is still found on paper maps and directional ship models? You won't find it because it was converted to a nonsmoking casino years ago. At times, the nostalgic feel held over from original iterations of the Oasis class crosses the line into outdated or confusing.
According to the Adventure Ocean manager, this works about 90 percent of the time. One rule is strict--babies must be fully toilet-trained before they can move from the Royal Babies group to the Aquanauts. No pull-ups or diapers are allowed at Adventure Ocean activities. The Youth Zone can accommodate special needs children, but can't provide 1-on-1 care. The parents are welcome to stay with their children if they wish.
Heading aft, the Hall of Odds leads to the art gallery and Casino Royale, the ship's main casino space. Allure of the Seas offers the Royal Suite Class, an upgraded suite experience featuring a suites-only restaurant, Coastal Kitchen, suite sun deck with daybeds, suite lounge, and access to a Royal Genie (in select cabins). In addition to the main pool deck is an adults-only Solarium for guests aged 16 and above.
